UC Summit 2014 to Focus on Major Industry Trends

15 Apr 2014

Leaders from all aspects of the Unified Communications (UC) industry are gathering in La Jolla, California, April 27-30, 2014, for a two and a half day conference, focusing on networking, building new relationships, product/market education and aligning business models with evolving and emerging technologies. Topics include mobility, wireless, WebRTC, cloud, SDN, hosted, hybrid cloud, MDM and contact center.

The UC Summit is an invitation-only event for three constituencies: Solutions Integrators, Consultants, and UC Vendors. Enterprise customers are not invited, which ensures that the discussions will be candid and focused on channel enablement and product adoption. UC Summit extends invitations to 80-90 decision makers from top organizations that have been identified as "solutions integrators" or as resellers who are currently offering unified communications. In addition, UC Summit invites 30-40 end-user consultants who have been identified as transitioning from their data or voice focus to advising customers on UC, collaboration, social software and cloud-based solutions.

Executives from select reseller organizations and end-user consultancies will hear from a cross section of vendors representing the various products that go into a UC solution, while learning about best practices from their peers.

According to Jim Burton, Co-Founder of UCStrategies.com and Producer of UC Summit 2014, "The Summit is a unique networking event - it's like belonging to a private club where everyone is open to a conversation with a fellow member. Every vendor has access to the reseller executives for networking and partnership opportunities. The resellers and consultants can hear from both major vendors and important smaller vendors - without the usual hard sell - while exchanging information in an interactive, small group setting."

Major sponsors of the 2014 Summit include AVST, CLP Central, HP, IntelePeer, Interactive Intelligence, Logitech, Mitel, NEC, Plantronics, SMART Technologies, ShoreTel, Sonus, Unify, and West IP. A limited number of sponsorships are still available. If you are an interested reseller channel executive or end-user consultant, apply here.
