Avaya Intros Two New Enterprise-Focused Consulting Services

Avaya now offers two new enterprise-centric consulting services - Cloud Transformation Services and Continuous Performance Services - that aim to assist the business customers of Avaya partners in achieving certain technology goals.

The new services are available to resellers after they have gone through the same process in securing Avaya Professional Services. According to Sanjeev Gupta, vice president of marketing for Avaya Professional Services, the company's consulting team meets with the reseller to arrange for a statement of work, as well as prepare a quote that the reseller can present to the client. Gupta also explains that the use of Avaya Professional Services does not cost Avaya partners extra money.

Gupta adds that all vertical industries, as well as multi-location companies that consider optimizing configurations or improving infrastructure, are perfect beneficiaries for the new consulting services.

The Avaya Professional Services unit is supported by 1,500 specialists, and its new consulting practices are available worldwide.

Cloud Transformation Services

Cloud Transformation Services guides enterprises and service providers in defining and implementing cloud communications that support their business goals.

According to Avaya research, there is a significant demand for cloud-based services. Forty-seven percent of businesses plan on implementing or reviewing strategic options for their cloud communications.

And with Cloud Transformation Services, enterprises can, among other things, analyze the cost per benefit ratio of various cloud delivery options (managed, private, public, or hybrid) and establish the optimal delivery mode for their cloud communications.

Meanwhile, cloud service providers can take advantage of Cloud Transformation Services to improve their hosting strategies and to develop an architecture that addresses the business requirements of their customers.

Continuous Performance Services

Like Cloud Transformation Services, Continuous Performance Services targets the needs of enterprises. The difference is that users can take advantage of the consulting work through an annual subscription basis. The consulting work takes on different technology solutions, such as session initiation protocol (SIP) transformation or self-service. Continuous Performance Services includes security assurance, self-service application tuning, SIP economic consulting, and network visualization.
